We believe in responsibly managing and sourcing our earth’s natural resources. Every day, we concentrate our efforts on being more energy-efficient and on implementing environmental best practices within our facility.
Here are some of the key ways in which we have reduced our carbon footprint in recent years:
Reduction of our energy consumption by 90% by replacing water evaporation with centrifuge (eliminates the burning of natural gas as no heat is involved)
Wax reclamation through a collaborative partnership with our wax supplier (virgin wax manufacture takes considerably more energy)
By using a dedicated dust collector, we are able to increase our usage of recyclable metallic dust thus reducing our carbon footprint
Updated lighting to energy-efficient T8 bulbs and fixtures
Use of motion-detection light switches in offices, bathrooms, and breakrooms
